Introduction to Mosaic
Mosaic: Interfaith Youth Action is transforming communities by empowering youth to lead with compassion, understanding, and purpose. Through interfaith dialogue, service learning, and creative expression, we bring together young people from diverse backgrounds to build bridges and foster unity.
Our programs address critical issues like religious intolerance, climate justice, and community advocacy, equipping youth with the tools to create meaningful change. By amplifying their voices and cultivating leadership, we’re shaping a future driven by hope, inclusion, and collaboration.
Product Management As A Force For Good
At Mosaic: Interfaith Youth Action, we believe that innovation isn’t just for businesses—it’s essential for nonprofits looking to grow their impact. With the expert guidance of Neil Baron and Rod Griffith, we applied product management best practices to refine our strategy, scale our programs, and better serve the diverse youth in our community. This video highlights how customer-centric thinking, iterative learning, and strategic innovation helped us:
✅ Expand our reach and engage more youth
✅ Strengthen our leadership and program development
✅ Improve sustainability and long-term impact
Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll’s remarks at MLK Day
Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll delivered inspiring remarks at Mosaic: Interfaith Youth Action’s MLK Service Learning Day, a day dedicated to service, unity, and honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
In her speech, Lt. Governor Driscoll highlights the importance of coming together across differences, celebrating our shared humanity, and taking action to build a more just and inclusive society. As we reflect on Dr. King’s vision, we are reminded that service is a powerful tool for change and that our collective efforts can create a brighter future.
MLK Service-Learning Day
On January 20th, over 80 youth from across Greater Boston came together for Mosaic’s inspiring MLK Service Learning Event. Held at Bethel AME, the day was filled with community action, meaningful dialogue, and impactful advocacy—all rooted in honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of justice and unity. Participants packed over 100 essential items for refugees and migrants resettling in Massachusetts, demonstrating the power of service to address pressing community needs.
Adding to the day’s significance, Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll joined us to speak about the importance of youth leadership and civic engagement. But the impact didn’t stop there. Youth leaders raised their voices in advocacy, sending more than 80 letters to the Senate Ways and Means Committee in support of S. 99, showcasing their commitment to justice through legislative action. This incredible day wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our volunteers, partners, and participants. Together, we demonstrated the power of unity in diversity and the role youth can play in shaping a more inclusive future.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLjGx_S8KA0&t=7s
