Through hands-on cooking experiences, interfaith dialogue, and shared meals, youth build bridges across difference while gaining life skills—and in some cases, professional credentials.
More than just a cooking class, this program invites youth to reflect on identity, faith, and belonging, while fostering community and compassion through every dish they prepare.

Who Can Join?
The Interfaith Culinary Arts Program is designed for high school youth (ages 14–18) from all backgrounds. No cooking experience is required—just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to try something new.
Cohorts are formed in partnership with local schools in the Greater Boston area.

What is the time commitment for youth participants?
Workshops take place monthly over the school year, culminating in a final community meal and celebration.
Do youth need prior cooking experience?
No! All skill levels are welcome. The program is designed to teach as it goes.

Our goal is to make Mosaic programming accessible to all, regardless of financial circumstances. While the program does require funding to run, depending on your school’s context and capacity, we’re always open to exploring funding solutions together.

What if my student(s) has/have dietary restrictions?
